September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day provides an opportunity to reflect, learn, grieve and take collective action towards reconciliation. This is a day to recognize and commemorate the tragic history and ongoing legacy of residential schools, and to honour survivors, their families and communities.
Here are some ways you can recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation:
Have a conversation with children
Read books (children and young adults)
